Having just returned from a CSI region conference in Virginia, it was interesting to hear other specification writers talk about how they started as a spec writer. Most had a mentor who worked with them to understand specs and did it because no one else wanted to. Do you see an opportunity in your firm to fill a void? Average age of a spec writer is about 55 years young.
